Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. The actress grew up with big dreams. Her best roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic drama Precious. She was born into the middle class family located in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. The idea of instilling a love for films within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother, she also enjoyed watching films. Paula was a part of co-curricular school activities and particularly enjoyed acting. She loved performing in stage productions along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the scene of many school productions. The student decided to be an actor. She went to in the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by the experience. She was assigned a 3 month task to produce documentaries for PBS. After completing the assignment, she began becoming an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. Then she began producing documentaries. She loved her work but was determined to become an actor. Her career in acting started with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. She has appeared since in numerous films as well as TV shows.
