Seasons 1-8 are when shippers place bids for two of the shipments on the uShip website. It is an auction reverse structure. Bids are typically made with statements about the possible costs and risks, as well the motives and capabilities. When the time limit is over for an auction, the job is awarded to the bidder with the lowest bid. The client's discretion however, the job could be given to bidders with a higher average feedback rating than past clients. Feedback ratings are used to break bonds for the lowest bid. In season 9, the shippers collect their loads from an agent for shipping, but the bidding process isn't shown.Winners load their cargo and try to deliver it intact by the client's or receiver's deadline. Client feedback ratings are displayed when the loads are delivered. The show ends with each shipper's earnings and expenses. To determine the profit or loss, the bid amount is subtracted. Sometimes, shippers decide to transport additional loads during the same journey. This amount will be added to their total. The shipper may not be able finish the job due to safety issues or the size of the load. Sometimes, one shipper will contract the help of a different shipper in order to complete a job. The shippers decide how they'll split the proceeds. The process of each shipment is delayed by hilarious criticisms from other shippers during seasons 1-8.
